My background is in probability theory and I am interested in random walks, Brownian motion, and mathematical finance.
I have developed a general education Environmental Liberal Arts ( ELA ) course, The Mathematical Experience , which focuses on learning about mathematics and mathematical results that will allow you to gain an appreciation for the aesthetic value of mathematics.
I also write a monthly column on mathematics in The Rutland Daily Herald . For more details about the column click here .
