Ice Climbing Gear

GreenMAP is well prepared to keep students busy recreating during the winter months. The surrounding area is full of running water that creates a vertical playground once frozen. The safe setup of an ice climb requires a well trained leader with knowledge of top rope management and anchor building techniques. For this reason we only rent our ice climbing ropes and protection in conjunction with our Ice Climbing Trips. Crampons, Ice Tools, and Double Boots can be rented by anyone for the standard GreenMAP rate.
